50th year anniversary for ECSC starts today and the weather and waves are crap. Looks like the rest of the week is going to be flat and the weather doesn't get really nice until the weekend. Way to drop the ball VB! Specially when I just wanted to enjoy my last few days of the beach before college...
bummed there wont be anything ridable this week...Hopefully this wont ruin a great event for the future. I'd be surprised if it was a 6 star again next year but dont want to see it drop down to a 2 or 3. even without good surf still a fun event to go. Tons of other stuff going on outside the water just need the weather to clear up
yeah you're right, I didn't even think about it dropping. I don't think it would just based on the surf because like you said, there is so much other stuff going on. The weekend is when the weather is supposed to be nice and thats when the most things are going on. I think ecsc will stick it out during the week and then hit it hard over the weekend.
