On a day you had to work, Modern Man by Bad Religion always strikes a chord. Album, Music or Grassroots by 311...just always "Feels so good"

Basically whatever few tracks I'm lovin' at the time. Although,

Red Morning Light by Kings of Leon

is my go to Dawn Patrol anthem.

Tried something different this morning and cut the tunes off before my session. Just tried to calm my mind and focus. It was kind of nice actually.

How about the sound of an under-fed baby crying in a crowded Wal Mart...human nature at its finest

Depends on the waves, if they are small and it's more of a relaxing session i'll go with some Jack J, various Reggae artists, Slightly Stupid, Incubus, or Sublime. If the wave are bit larger, i'll throw on something heavier to get pumped, anything that rocks works really, but a few would be Chevelle, SOD, Metallica, Foo Fighters, or the hundreds of Punk CD's I own. Anything really, I just can't do country, no matter how many rednecks i'm surrounded by in FL, it just doesn't work for me.

    Paddling out with theme music

Wilson Philips, Amy Grant, Bread, Michael Bolton, Nickelback, (any other singers who sound like they are taking a dump) and then all the stereotypical surfer stuff, donovan frankennutter, Jack "bedtime" Johnson, sublime, slightly stoopid, 311, bob marley, and other "irie" white kid reggae bands, like soja.

When I know it's going to be a gnarly paddle out, I listen to Get on Top by the Chili Peppers.

    Got RJD2 on right now...
Old Crow is good too, I saw them in a bar, and from what I can remember it was GREAT
I'm glad you reminded me of Grisman... the first one by his quintet is sooo good...

Right now on my ipod I have Pretty lights and an old mixtape, Scott Henry VS Deiselboy... East Coast Science
