I have a 6'0'' single fin egg type board with a rounded pin. I have a random longboard fin in it. What type fin should I get for it because the longboard fin is like 10 inches and really wide. The board rides great with it but i feel like im not getting the true feel of the board.

    i would recommend either a greenough 4A or a true ames L-flex around 8".

    Solid post, Njsurfer42.

I use a 7.5" L-Flex Fin in my 7' egg - you will feel every bit of flex, from this fin. You literally snap down the line. I have never tried the 4A, but I have heard great things about it. Regardless, either of these fins (L-Flex, 4A) should meet your needs.

Cutaways are best if u have sidebites. Go with the flex fins recommended above. They both have great feel

i used an 8" L-flex in 2 different eggs from brian wynn & it worked great! sold it w/ the 2nd of the 2 eggs & kinda wish i'd kept the fin.
the 4A is a great all-around fin for single fin boards...nice long base for drive & hold w/ a narrow, slightly flexible tip for pop & spring through turns. i use a 10" in my 9'6" log...tried a bunch of different fins & kept coming back to it. i finally wised up & stopped messing w/ a great thing!
