The shore towns in NJ are about to experience a mass exodus consisting of many idiots, or “bennies”,”kooks”,”shoobs” or whatever you need to call them. For me, there will be 75% less people in the water, on the beach, on the road, at the store and so on. I’m totally stoked about that, and that’s it. The stoke has nothing to do with “hate”,” localism”, or ”racism”. I don’t “hate” bennies. I don’t hate anything. Hate sucks positive energy out of you and replaces it with negative energy. The three month sh*t storm is over and we are happy about it. Big deal. How that makes us surfers d*cks, I’m not sure. I’m sorry some of you are mad because we “joisy guys” are happy. However, I don’t understand the concept of embracing these seasonal people and wanting them to stay when they make all of your activities 10 times more difficult. I treat everyone everywhere (that includes bennies) with respect and tolerance. I give people the benefit of the doubt and that way the ball is in their court, and my conscious is clear. Without a doubt, there are plenty of rude, ignorant, and disrespectful people in the 49 perfect states as well. Legitimate surfers that cruise around and surf different spots are far from being bennies, but if you need someone to tell you that………..

I-40 Tourons, use it! This swell is to good to be true. All the tourists, weekend warriors and kooks will be gone by the time it hits. I got into an argument with some grom cause he was pissed the waves will be here when he has to go back to school. I glad I left the north. Idiots up there have no repsect. I feel for surfers up there. Now, lets get some!

You might be a benny if:

1.You bring a tent to the beach

2.You leave your kids diapers on my doorstep

    3. You need to get saved by a lifeguard in 2 ft surf

    4. You hit my car three times while trying to parallel park

    5. You blow thru the cross walk at 40 in a 25 while Im crossing the street with my two year old

    please feel free to add

This. More importantly than the tourists leaving is no more aggro lifeguards or surfing beaches so everyone can have more room to spread out. More space will be good for everyone trying to take off on closeouts running 3 blocks long.

DON'T DROP IN ON MY CUBICLE!!! LOL.
its my understanding that A LOT of guidos live at or near the jersey shore. You really can't find too many guidos in brooklyn or queens these days. Actually the old guido strong holds now look like downtown basra. I guess staten island still has a lot of guidos but real ny's dont consider staten island as part of the planet earth...

I went to high school out in bayridge which is right next to/part of bensonhurts and it was 90% italian. They have sinced vanished from that area. Lots of asians there now too....

Heading back from a week and a half out of town last night... miles of cars going the OTHER way. Thought... wow, I guess it's officially over.

Out to breakfast at a local joint this morning... no wait. Almost forgot what that's like...

I'm not a tourist hater... for half my life they paid my my beers, my food, my rent, and put me through college. But I'll admit it's nice when they go home.
