"With medium range guidance suggesting Leslie will linger in the western Atlantic there is the potential for stronger swell over the weekend and into early next week. This will depend on the eventual strength/location/track of Leslie – stay tuned as we closely monitor Leslie the next several days. " -- The f'u'cast as of 7pm Monday Sept 3, 2012 (S***line) - - East coast epic-ness in your lifetime all in the next 7 days? - - Roasted rotator cuffs, laboring labrums, surfed out dudes? Quite possibly so.
sh!t im a little sore from the stomach high clean stuff this morning, plus its been rideable here this last week so im ready and cant wait for the real swells to hit...i have a few more sick days might as well use em' up...i wonder what my boss is going to say when i show up a couple days late with a sunburn and dragging a$$...lol
I've gone an entire summer without a real project to work on, so of COURSE I get an assignment that begins tomorrow and prevents me from taking random days off for the next month. bah
Swellinfo has it pretty much dialed in, and here is some nice stuff to read after a long summer of flaaaaat. From S***line: Conditions are expected to improve for Leslie later this week so we may see Leslie strengthen during the second half of the week. Weak steering currents will result in TS Leslie moving very slowly towards the N/NNW over the next 3-5 days. This will also allow the system to send a multi day swell for breaks up and down the East Coast. Stay tuned as we continue to monitor Leslie the next several days. Next Update: Tuesday Afternoon September 4th
Trying to get Thursday and Friday's work done today and tomorrow. Coaching Soccer and pee wee football on Saturday. No Jack Daniels until the swell is gone...
i honestly dont understand this thread!!are you guys saying we should be training for chest high waves, that where not in shape to surf a 4 ft groundswell!!i dont know about u guys, but my bear belly does just fine with keeping me afloat.il probly have a couple beers and burn a spliff before i paddle out tomorrow and the rest of the week.this isnt mavericks,or atleast hurricane irene..if your too burnt out to paddle a little bit, just wait on the inside and u can pop up on that wave without even paddling.i may be a drunk stoner loser, but im sure not afraid of chest high sets.il probly go bodysurf this week, til we get that 6ft range on sunday.then daddy can spend some time in the green room!
