WTF is that?! They can't actually be designed to surf in.

 

They look cool, but at the same time I feel like this is just contributing to the "fashion over function" aspect of surfing. I dunno...

 

It would b interesting to use a sneaker like boot, hmmm, it might work.

 

Definitely fashion over function - my first thought was something from the Volcom team. Maybe Nike will release Air Force 1 lace-up booties.

 

Fugly!!! No thanks. Maybe they will make blue jean wetsuits next. Hell thrown on a nice collared button up 2mm jacket too. Then you can go from surfing right to work without even changing.

 

Its looking interesting and i also would like to use it.

Looks like they'd be a b!tch to put on but I'd love to see someone rocking them in a spring suit... Kinda like combat boots and shorts for you 80's hardcore punk fans! definitely a fashion accessory.

 

pretty sure they are for wake skating and have nothing to do with surfing...
