if you're a troll, get outta here. if you're not, then it depends on your location. if you're in ny/nj/de area, you'd better be ready with your emergency supplies. sandy is potentially rolling through with potentially "perfect storm" conditions.
First post.......I'll bite this time........Since you post in east fla. I'll assume thats where you are. South Fla will have the most fav conditions. Hold your cursor over forcast above and it will give you a dropdown list of various regions and so on.......
well see super. tuesday looks pretty tasty right now. gonna get to see if my rocket will hold in head high waves. im probably gonna skip all of my classes if its clean
im talking 6-10ft@13-14 sec. w/wnw winds for 3 days straight...i cant hardly contain myself....yes...yes...yes...lol
Does anybody know any good surf spots on Long beach island new jersey? I usually go to division street of surf city and shipbottom but since its now off season anybody know any good breaks on the island? its just me not a group of people
I don't know why you guys are being this way, I have to admit I moved to Florida not that long ago, and haven't seen a swell of 9.5 @ 14 secs here ever, esp with offshore winds, so the only advice I can give is do what I do... Go to your local break and see what it looks like, then hit the next good spot you know of...but just a bit of advice; but as you can see, you're not going get any legitimate help or tips on here... Have fun Sunday and good luck, I'm going to peek at Juno Pier because it's just such a large pier I'm hoping maybe it'll hold something, but if not I'll head north on A1A and see if I can find a good wave, don't know what else to tell you.
I'm really curious to what its going to look like, saying NE swell 9.8ft @ 13 secs at 12pm Sunday in Fort Pierce with W wind @ 15 mph, i mean really? The inlet going to have double overhead barrels lol? I think I'll poo myself if it does...
Only place on the entire east coast USA that can handle this kind of swell (predicted 15-25ft) tuesday and wednesday is RUGGLES point in Newport, RI. Period!! no discussion...forget FL, Hatteras, Outerbanks, NJ, OC...RI gets the biggest waves on the east coast period...IF you dont believe me check out Ian Walsh and Garret McNamara's video on youtube surfing hurricane Bill. If your spot gets bigger than this during the swell Ill buy you a happy ending at an Asian masage parlor. Listen RI aint the ocean state for a reason...stay the f out because the locals are prix but this place is magic and is the only place that holds 20+ swells clean on the east coast. Have fun and BE SAFE!!!
kyle your best bet would be reef rd. w.p.b. it seems to hold a swell better...F.P. is gonna close out @surfsexgambleparty...its obvious you really dont know what your talking about
yea haha thats why i said we'll have to wait and see. the forecast has been drastically changing everyday so im just gonna bike down and give it a look monday and tuesday. if i think i can make it, im gonnaa at least go for it. id kick my own a.s.s if i didnt @surfsex, please don't name spots on this site. its not fair to the locals there. they sent death threats to surfer magazine after they ran an article on that spot a while ago, but please don't say anymore spot names. thank you.
