basically looking for a fun shape that can replace my longboard on those medium size days with not much push .. I'm thinking a Used 6'2- 6'6 "round nose" . basically a "shortboard that paddles like a longboard but surfs like a shortboard " send me anything that comes close, TIA trying to spend $200 , located in Long branch NJ
I have a bic 5' 10 fish. It is what I learned on and it's decently thick and wide. It will get you into the wave quick but still make those cutbacks and snaps. It's in great condition, and I'll let it go for 175 with a leash and fins

sick board.. but why didn't you add a 5th fin slot? i feel like i would love to shred on that with a thruster set up.
I have ridden this board as a 5 fin, thruster and quad and my personal experience was that the quad out performed the 2 other set ups, that's why this is a quad, but if you want a 5 fin set up or thruster I'll make it
Consider a quad fish. I bought one (6' Plus One) used at the Patagonia surfboard swap meet this year and love this board. Does it completely replace a LB in tiny conditions, or can it handle big beachbreak? No, but everything in between it does really well in.
