    NOBODY! Stay in your room. Board up the windows! What kinda of thread is this anyways???? Nobody should go surfing tomorrow. I'm hearing sharks, wind, zombie fish, and water dinosaurs!!!! STAY OUT!!!!!!!!!!

    47mph offshore "gusts" are nothing to be concerned about (on-shore would be a different story as it would mean the surf conditions are most likely a mess). This happens all the time during any typical storm clean-up session. If the steady-state wind speed was 47mph, that's a completely different story, but typically these gusts will be a good 20mph+ over the steady-state wind-speed, which makes any "gusts" under 50mph completely fine for surfing.

    Granted I didn't go out today because I was pretty spoiled after yesterday and thought the swell would last longer ... oh well.
