Anyone know the truth about greenlight getting bashed on Facebook for selling knock off Restore the Shore t shirts? I hope they know whats gping on. They (greenlight) should explain what's really going on. Just wondering why they havn't spoke up for themselves. They are good dudes and I hate to see this happening.

They have a response on their fb page for everyone to read. Good bunch of guys and everyone affiliated. Misunderstandings happen. No ill intentions here, not from this group ever!

We were approached to put Restore the Shore shirts in our retail space unknowing they were not originals, just to be supportive. We don't even sell clothing, we make surfboards and teach people to shape. They will not be for sale now and are gone.

We have donated $$ and continue to volunteer time and efforts in helping the Sandy victims. We're the good guys here, please stop in and say hi!

Brian - Bummer you got caught up in that.

I've met the Greenlight crew at their open houses they were totally righteous dudes! I'm sure they did more for Sandy victims than 90% of the surfers on this site. Including myself.
