Going to be visiting Florida this winter. What beaches would you recomend checking out for some surf?

From Orlando head east on the Expressway straight to Cocoa, or stay East on I-4 and find Ponce Inlet / New Smyrna Beach Inlet, either one usually has a wave. on NE swells, Cocoa and Smyrna will be working, on SE you'll score at Ponce. Hope that helps

Anywhere from ft pierce/sebastian north to Jacksonville will be your most likely area of scoring some swell north of the bahamas shadow. Check the forecast 4 or 5 days out from your flight though, south florida and/or the gulf can get good too, it just doesn't happen quite as often.
