Hey guys, I haven't been out in a while but have had friends say that they've gotten sick from surfing or have seen large pieces of debris in the water. Not sure if they're pulling my leg or what. I know people have been surfing since the storm obviously but i'm just wondering about the conditions. Thanks guys.

Past that point. The ocean has recycled itself. For about a month to six weeks post storm, I can see being worried. Now, it's probably worse than it was pre sandy, but still not as bad as, say, Huntington or Seal beach in CA.
