For everyone using a modern browser, the flash on Swellinfo is now gone!
This is particular good news for mobile and tablet devices, who could not use the flash technology.

Just a quick note... previously we removed the flash for the top timeline graph... Today, we removed the flash that was controlling the maps.

Ever since flash was removed from the timeline graph, the swell detail you get from "hovering" (tapping on a phone) has been acting very buggy for me on my android phone. It used to work perfectly as flash.

    Kudos for the progress though.

Awesome news! It's so much better on our Ipad at home, works just fine on my wife's Android phone too (Galaxy SII). If you are still running on I.E. 6 for your PC you should probably look into upgrading.

Not too many IE6 users out there anymore, but still some IE7 users. I think it is more likely when people travel and use Internet Cafes and stuff like that.

The maps actually load a lot faster now, which is probably only an issue if you are on a mobile data service or just a really slow connection.

hey swellinfo, also like the star you added to the maps when you look at the quick forecast. it helps to keep track while region checking.

Sorry, took me a second to get back to ya. Yeah, Firefox is another option, but for I.E. you just might need to run an update, or you may want to update your Adobe. Glad you got it workin though.
