Thinkin about makin a trip to the sunshine state and was tryin to find some info on some campgrounds on the beach between ormond and ft pierce Googled a few but wanted to ask some locals what they thought. Thanks
There is always Sebastian Inlet State Park you can go too, or the one I have camped at is Long Point Park about 1/2 mile north of Sebastian Inlet, really nice camp ground...my advise to you is get a lot with shade on it, the Florida sun is still strong this time of year...happy camping http://www.camping-usa.com/campdetails/24927/ http://www.camping-usa.com/campdetails/15575/
I also like Sebastian inlet state park. I didn't know about Long Point, might have to check it out next time.
Ive camped a few times at Long Point where surfdog mentioned earlier and i would recommend it. Close to the beach, has a little diner at the entrance, and some pretty good facilities as far as showers go. You can walk across the street, theres also some fun spots to the north or the inlet to the south. Watch for the bugs
Check out the campground at St. Augustine Beach. Been a while but they have a nice uncrowded break there and you have something to do at night.
jetty park in canaveral is a nice park, right on the beach. its more of a longboard/sup/noob break but its just a few minutes north of cocoa and a short hop to satellite beach.
