Going to Tamarindo- not really a surf trip. I wanna surf but don't wanna bring my boards. Are there places to rent a good short board down there? If so, can anyone recommend one? Thanks.
There are at least a handful of places in Tam. Plenty of boards around the same price. I had a tough time finding one I liked a few years ago. It's a seedy town and scetchy at night. The waves suck as5 in Tam so go north or south a little. There is a drug war going on between Columbians and Italians there too.
MikeS, I have a place down there in town. No troubles. There are a lot of surf shops that rent boards. Witchs Rock Surf camp, across the street from them, Banana Surf Shop, and too many to list.
