I'll second that... Plus the air temps were finally warm, so the 42-degree water felt absolutely fantastic!

 

hell yeah yesterday was a blast. I had sandbridge mostly to myself, I would drift by some packs of 4-5 folks, but whatever. Love getting barreled at home!

 

Anyone else feel wierd after yesterday's water? I surfed around 24th. I'm fine today but last night felt a sinus/congestion/fever thing from the water. Might have just been all the water trapped in my head from eating it a few times.

 

Waves were chest to head North End, beautiful, I wish I could have stayed in all day.

 

Yeah, it's hilarious! Dude had a fanny pack on HAHAHA

 

Ironically yesterday cleared out a little sinus/throat irritation I was having the last couple days ... probably just allergy-related stuff from all the pollen that's starting to float around now that the trees are starting to bud ... Spring-time in Virginia is approaching fast

 

The wind was a little too south in the morning but at like 930, it was dead offshore from there. It was nice to actually get barreled again here in VB. nothing is better than that. Fun left overs this morning at 1st too.

 

also, anybody got pics from 1st yesterday? i saw a bunch of photogs out there. maybe you got me in one!!

 

Yesterday was so fun. We all needed that! My eyes are still stinging from all the duck-dives. Surfed three separate sessions in Sandbridge: 8:30 to 10:30, 11:30 to 1:30, and 3:30 to 5:30. Needless to say, I'm a bit sore today.

There were some sneaker sets out there, my first session I got caught inside more times than I'd like to remember.

Side note: The long range models are setting up a massive swell for the 5th-7th timeframe. Lets hope it holds!

 

Obx was firing! Today is chest high and offshore....stuck at work....booooo

 

Glad you guys got it good. The wind was up at like 30MPH yesterday when the swell hit SC... No bueno... still waiting for something decent in 2013... Had a couple of waist-chest days back in early January, but nothing to write home about. No barrels anywhere... just a few clean lines... starting to get a little crazy at this point with a flat forecast for the next week... I am seriously having a case of the San Diegos right about now.
