I think you are spending too much time on tin foil hat sites. I have been reading and researching astronomy and astrophysics articles since high school. I always was a space nerd. Nothing you have talked about has been more than speculation from crazies that have no concept of even the basics of solar or planetary orbits. You are using low resolution youtube videos taken from god knows where and picking out every optical phenomenon. Meanwhile, there is a massive community of amateur astronomers (not government sponsored) keeping an eye on the sky from every part of the populated world. We also have multiple satellites in orbit looking at the sun, Earth, moon, mars, venus, and several other planets in the solar system. If there were a planet or large object clearly visible by a cheap webcam during daylight, half the astronomers looking at the sky would have clearly seen it long ago. Sure, there are 10000000's of objects out there that we haven't identified, but most of these rest in the Kuiper Belt and Oort cloud. The larger planet killer objects are easily trackable when they enter a near earth projection in orbit. The objects on close approach to earth are not what NASA worries about. These are easily identified and tracked. They are worried about the objects in the Kuiper Belt that haven't made a regular pass in the sky in during human history. These will be a complete surprise (ie first seen by telescope as they enter the planetary section of the solar system, several months before arriving near earth), but are luckily quite rare.
As for the NASA quote about NY, you have that wrong. He was talking about an event like the Tunguska disaster in 1908. http://www.space.com/20315-milions-would-die-if-tunguska-sized-meteor-exploded-over-nyc-video.html While you are worried about that rare event, you should probably also worry about every major city sitting on an active fault line. Plate movement is much more common, and can be just as devastating as any major meteor incident.
It is good that you are interested in space and keep an open mind, but you need to steer clear of conspiracy theories. Buy a telescope, read some astronomy journals, and look for legitimate sources of information. We all need to push for more money to be spent on space flight, propulsion, and exoplanet research. As long as we are all bound to this floating rock, we will be vulnerable. Adapt, migrate, or die...
We need less superstition and more science.

 

I didn't watch the video and I didn't read all the posts, so sorry if this has already been mentioned. But there is a phenomenon called Earth Lights that happen during seismic events such as this. It is unknown how and why they occur, and there are many differing theories. But, these things ARE real. Only reason I know about this is because I am a geology major, and one of my professors was all about these kind of mysterious things.
