Do you guys know if there is any way to view surf reports from a while ago like some sort of archive?

You can screen shot and save the best forecasts for references.

Dont quote me on this, but I believe that surfline.com users with an actual paid account have access to LOLA's surf report records. I think it dates back about 10 years... I dont know if they still do it, but 3 years ago, surfline gave away a free 30 day trial to anyone in the world so I used the paid account for a month and tooled around with the LOLA stuff... I must say, that is the best part of surfline, albeit not worth paying monthly fees just to play with it, but it was an active database with all the recorded surf reports and forecasts so that they can cross reference their accuracy with the reports and forecasts....

If you know anyone with a paid account, they may let you play with it... Meanwhile, I will poke around the Noaa databases... they may have buoy data recorded somewhere.... I have scripts that tap into the buoy records so I can monitor all the active local buoys, so a simple PHP code would save the files every hour or so....

You can always just use the "It was better back then" quote....

I keep a surf log to remember conditions at certain spots that I enjoyed.
