monmouth county was close to perfect this a.m.

    At 730 this morning in Monmouth county I got some of the best rides I've gotten in years. Chest high glass and sand bars that hadnt seen action in decades provided some nice barrels. Sandy was tragic, but the break I learned to surf at as a kid is nasty again.

    yea it was nuts, bigger where i was. Heaving 5-6 foot slabs around 6 AM. Some of the most perfect waves Ive ever been out in

    Football field width green up here in MA this morning. Tomorrow is clean 4-5 feet all day. With sun & 65. C'mon now. It's been worth waiting for.
