Well okay, sounds interesting. I hope the vibration didnt weaken the glue job??? Looking foward to hearing and possibly seeing the board feedback.

Actually I used a structural boat epoxy on the board. It's rock solid. The vibration is a result of the construction method. One thing I like about wood surfboards is that they are boards you can have for a lifetime if treated properly. No heel impressions in the deck, very durable.

I'm not trying to be a douche, but if I was inspired by someone I'd sure as hell make sure I spelled their name right. And the guy has been responding to your posts with his actual name and someone else even called you out in the previous thread on the misspelling. Dude, it's Stuart. Not Stewart. There, now you can carry on riding your giant wooden flat boat hull.

He has posted in other articles that he sometimes spells his name differently due how his ancestors spelled the name. Thanks but if I would be corrected by someone don't you think it would be by Roy. I would guess that i am more well read on Roy and his work than you sir. And in response to riding my giant wooden flat boat hull.......you can go fuc. yourself. It will ride better, last longer and be an overall better board than you have ever stepped foot on. I've spent the last three years reading and studying Roy, surfing, and board building .... So you don't have the authority to make such comments. But hey .... I don't mean to be a douche.

Just for the record, that's an awesome editing reason

Harmonic resonance is one of the nice aspects of a hollow wooden board.

Hi Steve yes I use both spellings of my name as was the norm back in my ancestor's days.

Harmonic resonance should be avoided at all costs. Source: Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Your foam board resonates. Just not at a frequency can can detect.

Thanks Superbust. I very happy with the turnout. Now if the ocean will give me some waves I can actually post some ride reports on this ride report thread.

Dudicles you should read more and talk less. I know you watched some video of a bridge moving around and now harmonic resonance is a bad charecteristic for a surfboard to have. In your mind a surfboard and a bridge are so similar you have provided the bridge video as evidence. Hahaha Wow....

I am starting to think Steve and Roy are the same person.
