just some friendly advice... most people aren't going to discuss where they are going to surf on a good swell on a public forum, since that will just add to the crowd factor. I imagine most areas should be doing well tomorrow.

so how far from the jetty do you think it will be breaking good? Maybe 100 feet or 200 feet? If you would tell me exactly where to go it would be great:cool: j/k. See y'all out there

If your a competent swimmer, you should go at least a hundred yards away from any body else. Out of harms way. On that note you should also consider stay completly away from all jetties and piers. Seriously if you are in experienced as your comment imply go to Assateauge, look for a place that is breaking, close too but away from everyone else. Take a friend to be on the safe side and watch out for each other and so you can hoot at each other if you get a sweet ride. The waves are mellower along with the attitudes at Assateauge. Give yourself some breathing room and you will enjoy surfing on a good day much better. Again walk down the beach,;) away from other,, dont be lazy.;)

You should seriously consider Va Beach. Go to the jetty and paddle out right where you see all the surfers in the water. They're a friendly bunch.

yes, let us hope that we have a great day.

Let me know what is up Jason. hit up michael on the phone.

Sunday may turn out to be one of those days where we can surf through the tide changes,..those are the ones i most enjoy,..but they are all to rare around these parts.

Everywhere should be ok........so....do not be some spoil sport,... all you out of town folk.

You know I have first eyes on it every Sat. and Sun. So by the first dark light I see, I got the report for Mid OC. Just have to see what the other 8 prime spots are doing. Either way I am ready for an all day.

    Hope you found out

During hurricanes just avoid crowds...Waves were breaking all down OC from everywhere...No point in adding to the crowds at spots like IR inlet....And since labor day every beach is open you can just paddle out and fight no one....

absolutely! There were 200 people in South OC, while there were plenty of other beaches throwing sick ones today... The crowds in South OC were crazy. All in all, an awesome day of surf - I hope everyone got some.

FYI - like most long period swells around here, the surf gets much better when the tide fills in.
