Just ride it already so that I can quit checking this thread looking for your report. It is big enough that it should catch any ripple that comes through. If you wait for perfection you will wait awhile.

She should be pretty versatile and will do well in small slop as well as good waves.

    Steve,

If you don't ride the board before, I think this is the time to do it. Right in front of Cory Lopez himself! I'd love to see you snake a wave from Cory on his wavejet on the Roy Stuart powered torsion box.

We can set this up. I'm imagining prepositioning yourself out there along the horizon just waiting for the demo to start. As soon as it does, begin your long dramatic paddle in and catch one from waaaaaaay outside. Snake Cory, ride the board to the beach, I'll be waiting with a towel for you and act as your board caddy, plant a kiss on the hottest babe on the beach NJ style then walk off to the car and drive off all mysteriously.

    Watcha think?

More demos on the way from Ocean Surf Shop! Get excited! We are hosting a Wavejet Demo on Friday May 17, 2013 from 1PM - 6PM! Surfing legend CORY LOPEZ will be here as well! Join us afterwards to meet and greet with Cory Lopez and grab some cocktails at Rita's on Folly at 7:30 PM!

I think your on to something! I was eyeballing the forcast for this weekend as well. I'm hoping the wind droppes off a bit.

We all are. If the wind slows, you will have some nice clean chest high sets to work with. Doesn't get much better for non-hurricane swell. However, I am not holding my breath. The forecast isn't in our favor.

I've got my fingers crosses. My car set up for transporting the board isn't great though. I have a small vehicle and surfboard straps. I think I'll be ok with S C state law for overhang. I'm a little worried about going down the highway 60 mph and 20 mph gusts.

Your ride report will consist of leaving your house and your board falling off the car and splattering on the highway. But hey, that'll be more than you got so far..

If in doubt fin first with a line from the tail to the front bumper prevents oscillation.

    Dudicles: 0/10 for your comment.

    Roy,
I never thought of that. I'll be on my way to pick up some cord after work. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah Dudicles, you're the only one who's frustrated w/ and 8 page ride report thread minus the ride report...did somebody mention blue balls earlier?

And I'm still waiting on yours. Technically, you and I have written the same amount of custom board ride reports.

If you delete all the banter it would still be a brief thread. My apologies for the wait but I can't make the waves and weather. Patience required....I'll post a ride report when I ride it.

    Good one, Sel.

So, while I was in Time Out I thought, dang it, I'll miss the inaugural voyage of the SS Kindling Critter of Charleston.
    I was bummed.

But, as SeldomSeen points out, we have yet to witness the reincarnation of The Merrimack on the southeast swells. There have been no reports or sightings of The Critter. Yet.

    Opportunity is at hand!

When do you set sail 'Steve?'

You may be waiting a while. The best day would have been yesterday morning. The next week is crap, unless you are going to try in shin high stuff.

Did you take it out this morning. It was perfect thigh high and clean. This was the best day of the week. Tomorrow will also be clean, but only knee high.

I bet it fell off his car on the way to the beach.
