If you had to pay a fee per wave ridden how much would you dish out?

I have been thinking about this and I want to say some ridiculously high value because of the way riding a wave makes you feel, but that's not realistic with normal incomes.

How much would a perfect barreling wave be worth to you?

How much for a clean, rippable chest high wave?

How much for some stormy or choppy waves?

    Any others?

I'd be broke. Maybe a flat fee but $/wave would drive me to play golf. At least I know I can get as many swings in a round as I want.

You could also find the sum of the prices of your boards, wax, leashes, board bags, wetsuits, gas, tolls, ding repair and emergency room deductibles and divide it by the number of waves you've caught.

Exactly how economists deal with this question.

Spend $4000 to surf two weeks in Indonesia pretty much sets your price for perfect waves. The math wouldnt be that hard. $4000/ (#sessions x #perfect waves)

Spend two hours and a couple bucks in gas for 30 ****ty wind blow waves sets your price for a slop wave.

The ocean is free, my man...I wouldn't pay a dime.
As stated, the costs for equipment and travel is already enough.
Is this a conspiracy to make waves only available to corporate giants?
Or are you opening up a wave pool?

Don't worry... the government hands out welfare like nothing... shouldn't be a problem to apply for "Wave Riding Assistance"

If it's a good wave, it's always worth the price.

Yes...but you would get a two foot wave and they would hand you a used foam top to ride.
