What is the biggest any of you have seen in South Jersey and when was it? If you have pix that would be sick. Just curious.
Last year in Cape May we caught hurricane swell that was easily double overhead (10-14ft). See if I can scrounge up any pics.
how does this shot work for you: http://www.swellinfo.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=157&catid=searchresults&searchid=16343

Micah, that day was huge. And I was in Florida instead of shooting it... I can't find the picture right now, but its in Surf Taco Manasquan. Where a wave a little bigger than that is breaking on the Manasquan Inlet jetty...
what about that HUGE famous picture from noel last year of that guy doin the bottom turn on that huge wave with the sunlight on it? i think it was a left and the guy was wearing a colored wetsuit
Yeah, that was the same exact day that we were up in Cape May.... it was awesome but when you come back to pics like that it makes you rethink the drive and ferry ride.
I have seen Monmouth County throw 10-15 ft sets with off shore winds about once in my life and that was about 6 years ago. I have to find the pics so I can post.
