Awesome, 23k to surf 23 footers. Don't have to worry about the fishermen chucking sinkers your way when you're shotting Honeyton pier. NZSM...LOL! Wonder if you can get them anodized or powder coated in orange perhaps. Already got the helmet so we're good there.
Saw 6 foot foot shark two days in a row in brigantine right at end of jetty. Few days ago in OC me and few other guys saw a nice sized fin swim by 50 feet out. Something defiantly going on here. Who knew the ocean had sharks!?!
people think a white shark attacked a seal towards the east end of Long Island. The truth is that it was me, I ate the seals head. There are no sharks in the water here.
You all know this by now and with the wealth of information available I shouldn't be the voice of reason , here goes nuthin. First and foremost , Never surf with lawyers , if there are sharks in the water they won't eat them as a professional courtesy.
Seen them all over here on Hilton Head, SC. My restaurant has a boat dock and pier on it. One of my employees has caught black tips pretty much every day for the last 2 weeks. Last week, there were 3 tourists out there fishing with him, and literally, simultaneously, they all hooked 4 sharks at the same time. They had to drag a couple of them onto shore to cut them loose. Everywhere. Cleared Burkes two weeks ago and had the choppers flying. It is what it is I guess. I definitely keep my feet up here a lot more than I did in San Diego... The water temps are up in the mid 70s now, but the water is MURKY MURKY MURKY
My step-dad and I were surfing around Mercer pier in Wrightsville Beach in January and had a decent sized white shark come up on us. Clear as anything. Scared the hell out of us though.
Did she say "Hi I'm Mary Lee. Can you help me get the tracking device off my dorsal fin? Some motherfu*%er screwed it in! Can you believe that sh*t?"
