Didn't ruin my day 3-4ft clean Mayport lines from 8-1...awesome...on second thought yeah everyone stay out of the water.
This won't deter many folks. With as flat and as crappy as its been the last few weeks, people will still go surfing this weekend with the little bump that's being predicted. Everyone is jonesing to get out there. I'm thinking the sharks are hanging out at the rivermouth feeding on the big fish, but it's interesting that it'll try to come that close to shore on that section of the beach. There's nuthin out there
Mary Lee was tracking around Charleston a couple month ago then pinged inland pretty far up a river. It was high tide at the time she pinged but the website said it was an error. There is varying degrees of accuracy with the pings going up to about 1500 yards or so. So she could be that close or it could be an error again.
I was actually considering moving to Jacksonville, but whatever I'm sure I've swam with stuff I don't wanna know about plenty here in Southern Cal, and in Jersey, and the rest of the East Coast! Makes the possible move to Jax more exciting!
She's heading North!!! Mary Lee's back in Charleston. This site is awesome. But I'm not gonna lie. If she was pinging that close to my beach day after day I'd have a hard time getting it out of my head in the water... And they only tagged 2 sharks up in Cape Cod. There's a few more that probably took a similar route.
can you see it in that picture or is it just me. i scaled to a car and i think i might be able to see it??
