I know some people get all uptight(why I don't know), but I dig when you guys have semi-civil or full-on civil debates. Like, I like when you guys argue with your facts and opinions. Beacuse let's face it, most Swellinfo users ' insult game isn't too strong. Really, youse guys have to be reared in places like Jersey, Philly or New York to have an effective insult game. Yeah, Boston, I know you guys think you do, but......sorry. You guys have the wit, but not the anger.

Mr Brewengineer, I applaud your detailed scientific explinations and contributions to things. I am not very scientific. I got a low "C" in high school chemistry. Sorry. But you're one cool-ass dude, considering how far south you are.

Chicarronne you're cool, too, but you don't make beer. And y'all be nice to Archy, he's cool, he's just has different views and he's scared of the government.

Remeber guys that this thread is aboot how NJ is experiencing nature's wrath more frequently, and how this shouldn't happen.

Hurricanes in the SE and Gulf - Fine
Tornados in the Plains - Sure
Earthquakes in California - Of course
Flooding anywhere but Jersey - Sorry, but hey what can you do

KEEP NEW JERSEY FREE OF DISASTERS. WE HAVE PLENTY OF HUMAN DISASTERS WE DON'T NEED THE NATURAL KIND (ok, someone start singing, "stronger than the storm," now)

maybe the guv jumped off a pier or something caused all the fatties in OCNJ to stampede into the water. could happen, although i have no scientific proof despite high marks in HS physics (the last time i studied wave mechanics)

PJB - fine post sir. you are usually good for a laugh except when talking out ur asp about climbing

Thanks Wombat. Though, I don't have an asp, I have a copperhead. Climb any good rocks lately?

Ohh man, that would be funny if Governor Christie entered the water in Deal, NJ and Ireland got hit with a massive tsunami. Though it would have to happen quick. He got that surgery, so sooner or later he's going to be sooooo thin.
Man, I hate republicans, but everytime I warm-up to him a bit he says something, or I read something aboot him, that off-pisses me. Like, yesterday I'm reading aboot some medical condition(darvet, I believe) that causes multiple seizures per day, and it seems (I think) that it mainly affects kids. Like 20 + seizures a day. A strain of the ganj with low THC and high levels of CBD's cease the seizures by AT LEAST 90%. But the guv said he can't support kids being prescribed the ganj for it. BUT it's cool that they get barbituates and opiates, that really don't help. One kid's on 32 different narcotic pills. Yeah, barbituates are much safer than ganj. Nothing like a three-year-old getting dopesick or axing if you got any "rainbows."

Is there any place in this world run/controlled by rational people? Anywhere? Why are people so stupid and easily mislead? Why are there so many people who think alcohol is just fine and anything made by a big pharm company is ok, but they think marijauna is deadly? What is wrong with you people?

Sorry to go off, but it's my thread and I'll cry if I want to....cry if I want to

As one who's always been intrigued by reptiles, I found that quite funny.

It isn't very rational down here either. After all, we allowed Mark Sanford to participate in government again. Fool me once...

As I sit here wondering/complaining........you know what? It is ALL of our faults.

We don't do anything aboot nothing. Some may say Archy is a conspiracy nut but he gets involved and doesn't just talk. He walks.

There are countries that are fighting to just be able to vote and most Americans don't even bother. We complain aboot our elected officials, yet we keep electing the same friggin people year after year. Sorry Marx dude, but religion isn't the opiate of the masses, entertianment, genitals and food are. You know the first time I heard "religion is the opiate of the masses" I tried to sniff a synagogue and a nun.

We keep hearing certain politicians say, "LESS GOVERNMENT," as they pass seatbelt laws and laws for pedestrians crossing the friggin street. "Less government spending" as they spend billions per year fighting a war against plants and their derivatives. "I love Jesus" as they cut social programs and ignore the less fortunate. "FREEDOM" as they buy stock in privatized prisons and support urine testing.

And you people wonder why I'm insane.........

Thanks guys. I am accepting campaign contributions now.

Umm, Langford needs to go, huh?

Well, the boys on the 800 Block of Maryland Ave are behind me so it's a start.

Hey, are any parts of Bungalow Park part of the tourism district? That's all that matters. I reckon I'll need to find out the official borders of THE TOURISM DISTRICT.

Plus, Ron Cash, looked at me once and said to a group of us that he'd help "us" out. So maybe I have a connection there, too. He's, like, maybe, the Business Administrator and I think he still heads the Health and Human Services department. If I could get him behind me.........

I'm sure I'd have no problem gaining the trust and support of the drinking types around the Ducktown Tavern and various casino bars.

The hookers on Pacific will get behind me, too....or maybe..... I'll get behind them......ahhh bada bing bada boop. See, I got corny jokes..........I'm a shoe in.

After I get some experience running Atlantic City then I'll take a run at a national position. I'll tell you what, I wouldn't spend millions for some ad agency to come up with..........DO AC

I could have done that for 20 bucks..............

    Free Baby J...............

Thank you for my nightly hyperventilation of laughter on this forum. The closing line of the opiated of masses paragraph got me high.

I'll be your running mate in 2016, mate.

You see this Google Glass crap? I swear, by the end of the calendar year, I'm gonna find an exotic place like Galapagos or Madagascar and spend my remaining UNPLUGGED days sustenance farming, surfing and pro-creating even though apocalyptic events abound like day-vision goggles that record everything and everyone in sight...and bring you to your destination, Mr. Terminator.

BTW...PB&J...we are angry. We just kill em with kindness.

Is he the same or different guy as the senator that opposed national defense, entrepreneurship and the need for the general population to get employed and contribute to the GDP? Because he was thought as something special and I think he got a promotion.
