So I had this wicked sinus infection, I think some salt water got stuck up in there, so anyway this crazy old hillbilly told me to dump hydrogen peroxide up there and it would kill the infection instantly. Anybody ever hear of that, or try it?

Never tried it, but i get sinus infections (sinusitis) and what I do I get some Mucinex DM (extra strength), a nasal spray called Astepro i believe, and if it keeps up some antibiotics. Drink lots of fluids cause you'll get really dry. Hot showers will help, buy some menthol / eucalyptus vapor tabs and toss em in the tub, and those patches work really good when out of the shower (if you don't like rubbing Vick’s on your chest)

Oh and lots of hot sauce and jalapenos will open those puppies up too, when the faucet starts running just blow as much of it out as possible

Give Alkalol a try. I swear by the stuff to fight off/prevent head colds and sinus infections, and for me it also helps when allergies really start kicking in. It's over-the-counter so you'll have to ask for it at the pharmacy. They'll either have it or will give you a funny look because they've never heard of it. It comes in what looks like a peroxide bottle.

If you try it, make sure you get their dispenser ("wash cup") along with the bottle. The whole "nasal flush" thing takes a little getting used to but it's worked for me.

Just go for it and do a fat rail of peroxide...I've brushed my teeth w/ it before when I ran out of toothpaste.

I'm a believer in peroxide. It's a great ear clean and mouthwash. I've never tried it in the nose, I'd imagine it would be quite a sensation. Probably would be smart to dilute it a bit too. Try it and let us know.

Just to be safe do the peroxide, Mucinex DM, Alkalol, hot sauce, jalapenos and a big spoonfull of cinnamon.
It will with no doubt clean out your sinuses.

And chug an extra bottle of mucinex for a nice dose of DXM to clear the cobwebs.

Go to your nearest sushi peddler. Tell him to hold the raw fish and double up on your wasabi. Eat the green block like it's avocado. Bye bye sinus issues.

sinus infection vet here. are you 100% sure its an infection? If you are, do the netti pot/sinu-cleanse with antibiotics then get some nasal steroids like nasonex.
