    Today was a busy day for me and maybe my focus wasn't on what I was reading/posting here on SI. Nonetheless, this quote gets my "made me laugh my ass off today" designation. Usually happens once or more a day around here.

    All winter i said I couldnt wait for it to be warm to be able to surf in board shorts. But of course nostalgia is a pair of rose colored goggles. I forgot how bad it is to surf in crowds and we haven't had real swell in a month.

    Bring back February.

    It hasn't been a very good summer, so far, down here. I think the last good swell was back in May, we have had a few waist high+ here and there but not much other than that. Mother nature needs to get off her butt and send us a storm a couple hundred miles east of the east coast and let everyone catch a few.

    How ya been Surfdog? Your talking S. FLA right? NSB, Ponce, PAFB, and Satellite all have been really fun IMO, some waist - chest days for sure, and recent. It was chest - head a few days during the 4th of July week / weekend. I recall a really nice swell in June too. Tell me you've gotten some of those nugs but forgot about them....

    Been doing real good staying close to home lately, south central, close to seabass, there has been a few swells pushing through, but I need substance, I need that drop where your stomach jumps into your chest, I need that hard bottom turn where you can just make it under the lip and sit in the tube for a few and then get spit out, I need a.....Oh sh!t...there I go dreaming again, o.k. just give me a head high, and clean day...

    Yea its way early, predictions are for a busy season, I hope nobody gets whacked this year, hope every Hurricane cruises up the coast a couple hundred miles off the coast.

    Check out the Farmer's Almanac August forecast.......a big one stays off coast late in the month.....hope is a good thing.

    all mighty farmers almanac! full moon's = easy forecasting. i like it. im calling for one first week of August. next one up is Dorian... my wife's name! it has to be an angry one!
