I was out last night and we had some nice offshores, waist high fun longboard waves, and a nice sunset. I can't wait for more power but it was good to get out ....

These responses are making me believe I either missed out on some serious waves or some people have no idea how to size a wave. That or sarcasm but I cant even tell anymore.

Serious waves, they were not. But they were clean and rideable which is better than most of the days we've had lately, plus no one was out. I think everyone is just so wave-starved at this point that they are stoked just to be able to paddle in to something.

    Amen to that.

from may 'til sept. it's always the same.you have got to check it.cams/forecasts miss it often, decent windows of fun waves happen all the time.it goes really flat for weeks on end,but in-between i saw a lot of fun surf nobody out this summer.i can't surf lately because of illness.
