    Duck, NC.

I verified this myself over the past week while on vacation. There are more Jersey license plates in Duck than there are in Seaside Heights. While shopping or at a restaurant, the distinct Jersey accent is heard everywhere. Corolla, NC would be the next to southernmost town in Jersey.

Ok thank you for the very important information - and all the time you took to research this.
So here is my question- let say there happens to be a civil war - does that mean that NC would technically be 'the north'???

no where in the south is considered jersey, for-gods sake the capital of the conderacy was in Virginia. you surf there in Virginia then slander this said southern holy surf land with the tainted words of jersey. corolla nc and duck nc will now be annexed to jersey to do migration of yankees. in return you take back larry the cable guy.

So by your logic Myrtle Beach is part of Ohio since all you see there are Ohio plates? No it just proves our beaches are were the people want to be.

myrtle beach is a cesspool and shall be nuked. the radioactive fall out probably wont have any affect on the population they're all mutated already. since its been invaded by the north it will be considered a west mid south state.

Myrtle Beach is where the state of WV vacations.
MB gets my vote as the worst part of the Carolina coastline. I don't even like driving through that area.

Can you say Boca Raton? Maybe more LongIsland than Jerzy. It's like the sixth borough for crying out loud. NYC with friggen palm trees. My cousin Vinny meets Jerzy Shore meets Baywatch. Benchoffs before paddling out in 2 foot mush, then hitting the disco to ply the ladies with date rape drugs.

technically, anything that can be truly considered "south jersey" is below the mason-dixon line (minus the bs right turn it takes at the md-de border)

Hey, I've seen quite a few Virginia plates in the past few weeks and two North Carolina plates.

And don't worry aboot the Jersey people in Duck and Corolla. They're the good Jersey people. They are trying to avoid us just as the rest of youse guys are. That's why they don't vacation in Ocean City or Wildwood. So be thankful for that. It could be me down there. I'm your worst New Jersey nightmare come true.

I could almost guarantee that if some of you southerners were to one day wake up in Cumberland or Salem County NJ you would think you're home and never know it was NJ. South of the Mason-Dixon Line really feels like south of the Mason-Dixon Line, even in Jersey.

I think it's already been annexed. Duke University is already well known as the University of New Jersey, Southern Campus. This is because it contains all the rich northern kids who couldn't get into an Ivy League school.

Hey, I thought the Mason-Dixon line actually ran through New Jersey....like technically.

And what surfrr was saying is kind of interesting. I was in Vineland, NJ the other week and I kept remarking, to myself, that the area reminds me of a southern city. It's actually Jersey's largest in area city but doesn't have that rowhome/ abandoned factory, industrial Northeast vibe. Ya know shoot, walk down certain streets in Mays Landing and other Jersey towns, and it reminds one of a South Memphis or South Atalanta neighborhood, minus the constant shootings.

I'd call duck NC The Hamptons, South. $5000/wk beach house rentals as far as the eye can see. No public parking anywhere. Law enforcement out the wazoo, but not to mess with the richies, no, to keep the passers by from stopping. They are targets of all of the "caribbean theme" crap down in the OBX, because, you know, North carolina doesn't have any culture of it's own. Take your bible and enjoy your f**king barbeque.

Did you know that before back bay was a wildlife refuge (1950's?) that entire stretch around the state line was a make shift casino, bar, and hooker town fueled by the wealthiest members of hampton road's high society? Heard that sh*t first hand from an old rich guy the other day. Sound so rad. See what happens when you open sh*t up to tourists and / or let the government claim it? The fun ends. oh well, at least there will be some wildlife left for our kids, rather than a bunch of overpriced beach houses.

I hated being in Boca when I went. Was chilling out on the beach (the 1hr parking is pretty f**king annoying too...) and I didnt bother to bring my board because well...even here in Melbourne, FL we get bigger than ankle biters on our flat days. Surfer almost ran me and my girlfriend over, kept cutting in between swimmers, and was generally a tool. Wanted to rip some of those guys off their boards using the leash. I mean, a few were cool to talk to about surfing but the majority....makes me never want to visit Boca again. Though that park near 95 is really cool.
