Looking for a comfortable place on North West side of PR to stay with two young kids Oct 18-25. A spot with a nice pool would be clutch since I will ditch them for hours at a time trying to get my fill of waves. My wife likes The Royal Isabela Golf Resort but its pricey and I don't golf. I've gone through PR search and only found good info for a bros trip. Any info would be appreciated. Also if your still looking for company Stretch I'm down.
I stayed at Fisheye View last year and it was awesome. www.rinconview.com. They only have 3 units and one is an efficiency so you would want one of the other 2, private pool and the most awesome view of marias break that you could ask for. Michelle is one of the owners and you can walk right down to the break in the morning if its hitting there. I also have a good friend that is a local PR guy who rents like 20 different units all throughout rincon, puntas area. He lives right there and his name is Elier. I have been renting rooms, houses from him for abut 8 years and he always has something, usually a house that ppl rent out. If you want to go that way PM me. I usually use Elier because I wait till I know there will be swell and THEN book my ticket, but since you have the dates, I would reccomend Fisheye if they have units available. Also stayed there several years ago also with my family. This place has both a pool and beach (without waves) which was great for young children. Only drawback for me was 15 minute drive to Maria's/Domes. Now that my son is older & surfs with me, we stay in Sandy Beach condos right on Sandy Beach (Puntas).
Not sure about your price range, but I stayed here with a big group. The house is incredible and is right near everything. 2 min to surf all over rincon, 15 for aguadilla, 5 to the Econo market, and EVERYTHING in between. Owner even leaves the house fairly stocked when you get there. Gated home, ocean viewes, pool, plenty of room for boards, etc. etc. etc. http://www.vrbo.com/364364 I can't imagine a better place to stay.
Hit up Stu at Villa Playa Marias. Pool with a swim up bar. The bar has a tv so our kids would eat lunch sitting at the pool bar while watching Spong Bob. And it's right at Marias/PistonsDoggies. Getting away to surf is a matter of walking out the front gate. Google villa playa marias
