that's on par with most posters on SI. doesn't matter what you actually say. there's people here who twist up your words and respond to something completely off base with what you actually said just to get under your skin.

Ya all know these probs are not to far from what we know or can comprehend. Yes trends will be only trends till we have more info to compute. Sure co2 omissions are bad, fact. Yes temps are rising, fact. Reefs dies, fact. Ok how can we change it? Grassroots? Locally? Politically? World wide? Hopefully. Industry is a mad mad animal. Sure in organized countries we can make an effort a little easier. Yet the rest of the world, our big countries are raping the earth for profit because there are not as many regulations to get it done and cheaper. We who have live a little longer than most have seen this. Thank gosh our community cares more than most. Be aware and try to make a little difference. If we all try a little a lot gets accomplished. No one try's we all lose.

Rock on rock climbing brother! If we cave in to the machine, and give up hope, that is when we lose a bit of our soul. To fight the good fight, to make a positive impact on one little stretch of beach, is to win a victory and keep the flame alive. They hate it when a bunch of ragtag surfers whoops them with science, organized effort, and persistence. They always underestimate our strength. I have been told numerous times: "This project is a done deal". Guess what: It's not over until WE say it's over. Many onerous projects have been put on hold and died due to lack of funding, next budget cycle, that is going to cost way more than we thought realizations from the stakeholders. Think globally and kick ass locally.

To that I scream a big amen. That I said for Mother Earth in her name, just to be clear.
