The owner of the whole south end is a dicey dude I've heard. He wanted condos after sandy and said he'd never rebuild. He was supposedly wrangled by the town into rebuilding...Fire starts at southern end of boardwalk on hard south wind. Right after summer season ends Hmmmm
Guidos aside, there are a lot of good local beach oriented people who put a lot of work into rebuilding after Sandy. They just lost it all. If you've never put a quarter down on a boardwalk game, or made out with a chick under the boardwalk as a kid after having a good sausage and peppers and a kohrs orange drink I feel sorry for you. There was nothing like seaside boardwalk as a kid. It was a lot more than a stupid TV show about a bunch of Guido bennnies. If you missed it, it's too late.
Yeah, pretty suspect. Sniffer, did you realize this is where I live (Seaside Park)? I can say what I want in jest. I think you were kidding though right? I was. I have to kid about it because otherwise I would sink in despair. Like, many I am still trying to normalize my life from Sandy. I never would have thought Sandy would still be affecting my life negatively almost 1 year later. I haven't surfed my home break in a year too. The pier and the waves it held are destroyed. I surfed all over the state since then, but it certainly feels like I haven't surfed at all without being able to surf my beloved pier. They haven't even finished removing the old one from the water. WTF!! Plus the water around both piers is still holding plenty of dangerous debris. Countless people were quietly rushed to the hospital this summer from underwater collisions with remnant debris! You'll never hear about it though, "the shore is open". I lost a decent amount in that storm but my beloved surf spot hurts most. Boo hoo boo hoo hoo, cry fest over. Now let's get pitted, yewwww! i am fromthe hood and the fire was ****ing hectic like wow. but honestly, there is so much ****ing greed in this damn town and ran by complete scumbags that dont give a fuk bout anything only the american dollar. they say this was the worst summer. weird because i thought it was beautful, yes was not one swell but it was awesome. just cuz they notmake money they say it was horrible. so this is to allthe cocksuckers and there 7 doller slices and the trash of people that go there....**** you. sandy came for one reason and so did the fire, too many of you people take take take. that is all you know is just taking and not giving bak. so yeah how you like your boardwalk now. i hope they pave the boardwalk over and these people never come bak. i lost my home in sandy and i aint even mad. town needs to get wiped out for good. go point if u wanna bring ya family somewheres. heights is not the spot. anyways i hope all you scored yesterday morning, was ****ing nugging mean!!!!!
