Hey if my bud can do it here with his small brewing company, so can you. Like brew master said its a lot of work. He has been busting his butt for 3 years straight. Now he is where he needs to be in the market. Now he works just a little less but loves it. Good luck with it all.

In high water (spring time) Class 3 n 4 white water holes. We got left n right break spots. In main summer my friends use inflatable SUP's on the calmer stuff down river. Stuff like class 1-2. Still is fun. Not a lot of lakes too close to put a boat on n tow in. Just don't use a good board in spring time. It will get messed up rocks n all. I bought a nsp 6'6" used for a hundred. It was in great shape when I bought it, now not so much.

I think river surfing is sweet. I went to Munich a few years back and I had the chance to surf the Einsbach river wave. It was amazing, but not quite the real thing. The locals were crazy good with all their tricks and stuff, but like other people said, nothing compares to a solid 12 second ground swell. Last year, my buddy from Endless Wave Board Company in Virginia helped me make a river surfing board with a carbon/kevlar bottom. Its similar to a mini Simmons with a large planning hull.River surfing is a great way to get wet, but not something to move for. photo (1).JPG photo.JPG

That's a tough call man! I could never, ever live away from the beach. I'll eat out of the dumpster and surf old crummy boards before I take a high paying job away from the ocean.

Their talking about building some wave pools, not sure about Colorado but I thought I heard it mentioned. Down here in Florida we have Typhoon Lagoon at Disney and its actually pretty fun to surf! They can crank it up to about 4' - 6' and you can choose if you want rights or lefts. Little pricey but definitely worth it.
