    Kinda like how we own all the ORV access.... own it enough to pay $100+, watch an "educational video" then get the "privilege" to drive in a 2 square mile area that goes nowhere near our traditional fishing spots.

    Wait until the enviros try to claim all year as "nesting season."

    the only nesting things the feds/states/locals/ are really truly concerned about keeping happy warm and safe are all the yankee snowbirds et.al "nesting" in their big fat McMansions along our coastline. I mean for christ sakes as your walking back towards a "public access" sometime notice all the signs for "keep off the dunes" (WHICH I whole heartedly support keeping off the dunes) the thing is the they never told these homeowners NOT TO BUILD ON THE DUNES. Each home has the RIGHT to build their own walkway down to the beach OVER THESE DUNES.. jesus h christos everytime i read one of those signs I kinda die a bit inside from the hypocrisy...

    Wow . Last time I looked, we as Americans pay all federal wages and paid for all the federal land. What happen to this land is my land, this land is your land, from California, to ny highlands....... Hypocrisy of our gov. I know this is not the only place this is happening. So what federal agency is doing this? Since they are not there working. If the state is doing this or local sheriffs it's not their job to control beaches or beach access rights as I see it. I'm happy the guy is standing up for his business. It's up to local agencies to take care of their own beaches. When was the last time ya saw a bunch of federal workers on beach clean ups on a regular basis other than when there is a oil spill. It's local people volunteering their own time cleaning up their local beaches. Just a few thoughts.

    the best thing that could happen at this point is for someone to release a few dozen ferel cats to eat all the plovers, that would take care of one problem, then with no plovers, maybe there'd be no Rangers and no BS.

    a man can dream, cant he?

    what happened to the idea of this being a free country? well to start with you've probably never heard the ENTIRE song...here are the lyrics as Woody intended them..I'll hilite the verses that have been censored from the public: Don't feel bad ifyou've never seen these verses before. not many people have

    This Land Is Your Land
    Words and Music by Woody Guthrie

    This land is your land This land is my land
    From California to the New York island;
    From the red wood forest to the Gulf Stream waters
    This land was made for you and Me.

    As I was walking that ribbon of highway,
    I saw above me that endless skyway:
    I saw below me that golden valley:
    This land was made for you and me.

    I've roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps
    To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts;
    And all around me a voice was sounding:
    This land was made for you and me.

    When the sun came shining, and I was strolling,
    And the wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling,
    As the fog was lifting a voice was chanting:
    This land was made for you and me.

    As I went walking I saw a sign there
    And on the sign it said "No Trespassing."
    But on the other side it didn't say nothing,
    That side was made for you and me.

    In the shadow of the steeple I saw my people,
    By the relief office I seen my people;
    As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking
    Is this land made for you and me?

    Nobody living can ever stop me,
    As I go walking that freedom highway;
    Nobody living can ever make me turn back

    This land was made for you and me.

    Wuz just starting to feel better after the last 24 hours spent in a coma induced by an excessive mud slide coming out me arse from a bad burrito. Now I read about this and I feel like taking an axe handle to the head of the nearest politician! I know violence begets more violence but for f@ck's sake man, when are we going to put an end to this kind of crap?

    I'll get behind any plan with a bunch of cats in it. Let me holler at my man Bubbles in Sunnyville, he's got the scoop on the kitties.
