    Ok This has been around since early 80's in the ski industry! It's for kooks! Had one once when was a kid. Worked just not that cool looking!

    Something that covers both your nose and mouth is generally not recommended for water sports.

    there's a nose opening and what looks like a valve by the mouth.

    If that mask slides a little to the side or up then you won't be breathing.

    I had a hood I got at a dive shop that was 1/4 inch thick and went past the collar bone. I was out at duck pier at low tide with 4' faces. I got augared into the sandbar,twisting my hood 180. kinda claustrophobic. As I finally got it turned enough to get my nose and eye out of the opening, just in time to see a fat lip inches in front of my gasping mouth. It was shin deep, so I got mooshed.
