a buddy of mine has one, he likes it very much... one problem he did have was one of the zippers breaking, he sent it in to Oniell and they fixed it free of charge.

    mutant

I have a 4/3 mutant and it works great...very flexible, lightweight, and keeps you warm. The only complaint I have is getting it zipped up when you first buy it b/c it hasn't stretched out yet, but once you wear it a couple of times, it becomes easier... I would highly recommend it.

I have a 5/4/3 Mutant, and I love it. It is a great suit. Very flexible, and very warm. This will be my 3rd winter with it and it's still in great shape, seams and all.

One of the velcro pieces ripped off a year ago, but I sent it to Oneill and they repaired it. I highly recommend it. Much better than Rip Curl IMO.

I have never worn a Psycho, but I get all the warmth I need with the Mutant. And I surf all year round.

I have a 4/3 Mutant and its a great suit. I surf through the winter in it. However the hood piece is a pain as the zipper is constant hassle as previously stated. If I were doing it again I would get a Psych II (4/3) and use a sepereate hood.

i just got a 2007 model psycho 2 4/3. IT was 150 dollars off and really flexible but the water hasn't been cold enough for it yet. Before that i had a quiksilver syncro, wore that for 2 seasons, and I liked that suit but this a step up. All my gloves and boots and other wetsuits stuff are all oneil and their great so i'd hold the mutant to that caliber too.

any 1 have a 2008 psycho 1 4/3 suit....im wonderin whether to get one or the mutant cause the mutant is phat as hell with the hood and innovative design however the psycho 1 seems more tamper free with the regular long zip. Any suggestions?

I have used a 5/4/3 mutant the last 2 winters and have had no problems with water leaking in through the neck. It takes some getting used to to get in and out of but i would highly recommend it. Very flexible, very warm.

I ordered a mutant 5/3 with detachable hood but returned it since it was so hard to get into compared to others, so I got a Psycho II 4/3 and its been perfectly warm (tested it in NJ starting in March) and its Zen zipper system is SO much easier to get into, especially if you have big shoulders. I will probably opt for one of the non-attached hoods and boots/socks this winter. IMO the Psycho II flexibility and entry is simply amazing and worth the slight decrease in warmth

Is anyone interested in a used Psycho II XL wetsuit? It's in good condition, it wasn't used many times. First $75 offer takes it.
