winter wetsuit

    i have a 4/3 which will usually last me to late november early december but i want to surf longer should i get a 5/4 or a thermo with a hood attached? i dont know what to do

    where are you surfing if you live south of Va a 4/3 could be warm enough all winter with gloves and boots and hood

    Where do you go out? In DE I use a 4/3 all year.(with warm gloves, boots, and hood, of course) It gets a little chilly, but I get by. Unless you live further south, go with a thicker suit.

    The thermo with a hood is definitely cheaper, and might be worth a shot. You could get one and test it out, if you can't bear it, get the 5/4/3.
