    :(
NOT- this sucks! I guess this forecast about sums up what has been a pretty dismal hurricane and fall season at the Jersey shore..
    Friday
11/8 Down WNW 20 early No swell of interest forecast
A front is to push off the coast with northwest winds taking hold at 20-25 kts blowing things flat. 1 ft or less ---
    Saturday
11/9 Down WNW 10+ early No swell of interest forecast
High pressure is to settle directly over the Carolinas setting up a light offshore flow and no swell producing fetch. 1 ft or less ---
    Sunday
11/10 Down WSW 20 early No swell of interest forecast
A new front to push off the coast setting up west winds at 25 kts off the Northeast Coast. No swell being produced. 1 ft or less ---
    Monday
11/11 Down WNW 10+ early No swell of interest forecast
The new gale is to push quickly off the Northeast coast generating only west winds at 30 + kts south of Nova Scotia. A new high pressure system is to push over the mid-Atlantic states later only generating more west winds at 15 kts. 1 ft or less ---
    Tuesday
11/12 Down N 15 early No swell of interest forecast
A slack pressure and wind pattern to take hold of most of the US East Coast. Well inland a large high pressure system is forecast building and tracking east with north winds starting to build over New York later. No swell production indicated. 1 ft or less ---
    Extended
Outlook Down --- The models suggest the new high pressure system is to push off the Northeast coast on Wed (11/13) generating only north-northwest winds at 25 kts initially then fading to calm. No swell to result.

this is a free site. you can't be angry with the site if it does not want to produce waves for us.
lol... I kid. its been a while since we've heard someone soapbox the free site thing...

The site you got that info from is a free site too. And remember, it's creator/curator is a big wave surfer... that other site is great to make your own forecasts.

My secret spot has been going off nonstop...don't complain if you don't have the local knowledge to find a good break.

I found waist high hollow waves yesterday. Sometimes you get lucky.

Don't know about ya'll but I've been pretty damn lucky this fall season, chest - HH conditions almost every week, skipping maybe one weekend for other oblilgations (it was still waist to chest then too), great forecasting from both SI & SL, as a matter of fact, it's been slightly under-forecasted on a few occasions and I got better than expected surf, If you know your area, and how certain conditions affect those areas, and aren't afraid to drive further to get the best possible wave in the area, then your chances of having a good season will increase

Yeah. Fla has had a decent run. There's been a couple of fun days (last weekend was super fun) , but Fall has been a huge letdown up here

You're day will come, i'm sure this winter will bring plenty of dredgers your way, I've been able to really get my go-to breaks dialed in this year with as consistent as it's been, starting to really click for me, i'm surfing at an all time high level (for me), been going back and forth between the LB and SB, both have been super fun, the LB in HH conditions has been quite the surprise, it's a very nimble board and hauls ass, gets really responsive with some juice behind it

Yea, we've had a good run with the swell but the wind has just not been in our favor, the N.E. wind has been killing it, beggers can't be choosey I guess.

I've had mostly the opposite experience off VB/Dam Neck so far this fall. But it's all in the timing. Reports, forecasts, and even webcams can't fully be relied upon. I've hit it lucky (relatively speaking) a few times, even when the web cams showed nothing. And just the opposite. I'll arrive at a spot, looks OK, go back to the car, suit up, grab the board, paddle out, and....nothing. And again, just the opposite has happened. Or it gets all blown out and choppy. Had a lot of that this fall. It can at times change so quickly - even within 15 minutes. Air and water temps in transition now. Cold fronts passing through. Took the 4/3 out of mothballs. This morning, water 60, air 40.

Had a really fun morning mid last week. Best session in a long time. 3-4 glassy, offshore breeze. Air and water in mid 60s. Dolphins, adults and juvenile, all around us added to the enjoyment. Good vibe. One of those sessions when you say, "This is why I do this."

That's awesome. Good for you... Nothing helps you improve more than consistent surf.
I'm sue it will get good over the winter, but it's a bummer to have a shi**y fall. It's my favorite time of year by far. Nothing better than a solid Sept/Oct swell up here. Warm water and offshores usually.

One of the only fall's where Jersey didn't "score". Definitely some fun days, but usually at about this time, surfline would be doing a write up on how epic the fall was in NJ

I have come to the conclusion that in order to be satisfied with the conditions, you have to settle for mediocrity. At least on the Delmarva, there have been plenty of waist-chest swells. Yes, we haven't received any groundswells, but if you can find a bar, there is plenty of fun surf. Last week was decent, with a few HH waves coming through.

My point exactly... lame even with the clocks going back the am sessions are non existent.
