An outbreak of Morbilli Virus has spread across the Eastern seaboard; affected species include our friend Flipper and even the Pygmy Sperm Whales. We've had many times the normal number of stranded marine mammals over the last few months. If anyone comes across a beached animal, feel free to call the Riverhead Foundation's 24 hour hotline: 631-369-9829. Whatever you do, do not harvest the animals for the purpose of consuming their meat. http://www.pawnation.com/2013/11/08/dolphin-virus-outbreak-in-atlantic-is-deadliest-ever/
You probably shouldn't try this either. The blast blasted blubber beyond all believable bounds.
Whenever the heartland or bayou gets a lot of rain Ol Miss takes all that water, all that water thats run off from farms, streets, factories etc.... and it dumps out into the Gulf. From there of course the Gulf flows out into the Atlantic and the Gulf Stream picks it up and flows north. Its scientific fact that whenever this happens we get "Red Tide" here in Florida from it. From there it flows up north to you guys with who knows what else. We have had a few dolphins wash ashore in the past few weeks here in Florida too. Actually just yesterday one was beached in Ormond (just a few miles north of Daytona). Not sure if that's related but nonetheless not a good thing. Red Tide is actually trippy. Its like surfing in tear gas! Sometimes it gets bad enough to where it sucks just standing on the beach! So keep up with your pesticides you heartlanders! It really clears out the ol' sinuses while I'm at the beach!
