and we have a vast array of unconstitutional laws mainly because The US Supreme Court's job is to make sure that government at the Federal level grows in strength. The Supreme Court /Judicial branch afterall is Federal. It will never judge a law to be unconstitutional because that would mean taking away some of it's own power. This nonsense about "checks and balances" is a sham.
It is a huge conflict of interest. The Federal Government is judging the constitutionality of its own laws. It is a classic case of "the fox guarding the hen house."

everyone should be talking about politics as it is everyone's business.
if you dont want to talk about how you are being ruled by others, then stfu and go enjoy your slavery in front of the TV

politics affects surfing in a myriad of ways, but I guess you are too slow to understand how

its GREAT when surfing affects politics (ie town meetings filled with surfers asking about beach fills, break walls etc)

its called awareness of your life and situation numbnuts, please pass along as there is nothing for your limited mind to gain from this conversation

Great topic of discussion boys and girls! Love it! I also love when sometimes family/friends/associates/the DMV ask your party affiliation, and you say "Libertarian," and they just look at you like you are from outer space!! Like "Why on earth would he waste his vote?"

It's great that we who love this thing called "surfing," can also find other things to talk about as well.... because there's only so many ways you can describe that 1ft air you almost landed after getting the head-dip of your life from the last time you were out...

    I miss you Neal Boortz.

I'm glad you like the discussion but I'm pretty sure Mr. Boortz is a Goldwater Conservative?....not really a Libertarian. I recall him trying to define what Anarchy was once and he got it really wrong. (hint: Libertarians and Anarchists are basically one and the same...Libertarian is just a more palatable label than the other to the uninitiated) A Really intelligent and passionate man but hardly a Libertarian. I didn't know he wasn't doing his show anymore. That's sad bc he sorta seemed sane compared to Limbaugh..who I guess gets to have all the airwaves to himself now? I don't know bc I dont "do" talk radio.

I dunno, there are even flavors of Anarchy (anarcho commi, anarcho capital, anarcho syndicalist autarchy, etc) etc that argue against each other, so IDK if this is correct, no biggie, just saying

point taken MIS, but at the ground floor they are really similar... non-agression principle, taxation is theft etc... I do get ahead of myself. thanks for clarifying
