Seldom. It's a logical question. Forget the fire for a second. You said you love dogs more than people. Your mother is a human. Whose life do you value more? The dog or mom? Now everyone has a mother so how ridiculous is it to say dogs are more important than people if you love your mother/value her life over your dog. It's selfishness. If you say you love your dog more than your mother well then maybe you should join a wolf pack and become a wolf man
Whoa whoa whoa, did you just try and put me in a box? Listen man if you're going to put me in a box at least poke some holes in that bad boy so I can breathe. Anyway no I'm not a naturalist I'm a scientist and I pray to the singularity. And those dirty hippie indians were never going to get there unless the white man came to this country and exploited it's resources which helped fuel the industrial revolution and here we are today. Sitting on computers chatting. So yeah, the indians can go the way of the wolf. Or is it the wolf can go the way of the indian....
It's a good point and his emotions (human weakness) prevent him from seeing the clarity of it. What I believe he is saying shark-hunter, is that he values HIS mothers life more than a wolf, but not your life or your mothers. Ironic, to be sure.
I have a feeling some of these guys are using the "we're just trying to keep others safe" excuse so that they can let loose and take part in barbaric behavior.
Guys it's over. Doug has spoken and we can all move about peacefully knowing this matter is settled. Thanks bris
Honestly really didn't think it required more than one line...but clarify what you'd like me to address and I'll see what I can do. Of course I value the lives of my family members more than my pets. I was talking more along the lines on species in general. Not my place to say one is more valuable than the other. Despite all of the positivity and potential displayed by humanity, there's just as much ignorance and contemptuous behavior, if not more.
What i really find disturbing is that people on here are threatening(promoting at the least) to murder these people up there simply because they disagree with them hunting wolves. It's highly disturbing and probably not a good idea in this day and age to be threatening to murder people or chain them and leave them to die
Animals don't kill each other for no reason do they? Oh wait... yeah they do, all of the time. Animals are cruel as hell. They rape, steal, cheat and kill. Humans are much further evolved than wild animals, but at the same time we are still animals. So keep your perfect dreamy (and maybe steamy) ideologies for your pillow and keep to being more realistic about the world that actually exists. That's my advice to you because you are lost in delusions of idealism and therefore out of touch with reality. It's not just you but maybe you can escape from it.
Well because of the whole "we can only see red light from stars that are moving away at increasingly fast velocities" theory, yeah I tend to believe in that as opposed to the big shrink theory. I will say that time is a dimension, and therefore life could be infinite if we can move back in forth through time, kind of like a draw on a chess board. Back and forth, back and forth. Like that kurt vonnegut book with the aliens bro.
Well everyone has family members! Get it now? Everyone has a mom/daughter ect! And their more valuable than a dog! I'm not hating on animals or dogs at all. I'm just saying. So to be joking that you are hoping you have enough money saved up so you can go kill these people because you disagree with them on their choice of species to be hunting to help keep their family members safe is ridiculous. You can have an opinion and I can disagree, but I'd tone down the rhetoric a little.
All of you tough outdoorsmen that advocate the strenuous life... do you just like shooting guns? Are you actually capable of tracking an animal? Have you ever seen a Wolf or a Grizzly in the wild? Some of you romanticize the wilderness from a safe distance, talking shott about 'leaving society'. Northendcanyon already professed that he spends all of his time bulking up in the gym and 'working hard for waves' ...so that he doesn't revert to his natural chubby-ass Star-Trek watchin, PC-gaming, hot pocket & pizza roll eating, mother's-basement-dwelling self. He makes Chuck Taylor look like Paul f*ckin Bunyon. We are discussing a matter of ecological impact and endangered species preservation, are we not? Viewing it through any other lens is child's play, you dog hating cootie-bearers. Hunting is an admirable skill set and can be successfully utilized to manage populations to the benefit of both hunter and environment. Varmint/sport shooting... Shott talking... weapons hoarding... Trolling... are entirely different things.
Couldn't have said it better myself. One thing though, there is definitely a difference though between herbivorous animals and carnivores. Deer are docile and generally don't kill.(exception of being wounded in a buck fight for mating rights, but the winner doesn't finish off the loser.) Lions/pedators kill all the time including each other and their cubs. Which is why I find it so strange people are ok with deer hunting, but talk about black bear hunting or any other predator and suddenly people have a problem. Some kind of absurd idealism about apex predators they got from watching nature(propoganda) documentaries. The nicer more sweet docile creatures are ok to slaughter from an ethical standpoint? Doesn't make much sense.
I'm a half insult away from a shirtless pics brodown, bro. I'm talking whitey tideys, half chub, side profile so you can admire my nice curvatures.
I don't work out either. That's for homos, not that I have anything against gays but it's like why practice tennis if you don't play tennis. You feel me
Excluded male lions competing for dominance/eating the young of others, list other animals that rape or kill for fun.
That is a strange thing. I don't agree with killing mercilessly but if it's between another species going extinct or humans dying, the choice is easy for me. Lesser animals don't have the same value as human lives, period. Especially innocent children. Grown people get twisted in all sorts of ways. The way of man is like the way of water. They follow the path of least resistance. So you get crooked rivers and crooked men. That's from a movie. Or a book.
