Back in July of '13 this forum consisted of a bunch of heroes trying to save the world one wave at a time. Now it's a bunch of pansies babbling about wetsuit boots. Makes me sick.

The forums have gone down over the past few years. There used to be more "info" threads as opposed to "drama" threads. Seem like 4 to 1 at one point. But now its mostly drama. Once and a while I get bored and check the forums, but mostly to feel better about myself. Like seeing someone averaging 25-30 posts a day, and your not getting paid. Seems strange, but whatever. People think I' m strange for skateboarding and I'm in my forties. But when you start adding in the racist or Obama stuff to posts, then it's just lame. Lots of dudes seem to like the drama, and the site admin does little about it. So it must be selling ads.

Check out bouyweather, premium membership. Lots of great info, especially if you fish or boat. Also no drama.

I remember this one time the waves were so sick that I blogged about it for 15 hours straight... Didn't surf because I was blogging so hard... Sh*t was so core back then.
These days I surf all the time and hardly blog about it at all. SOFT

 

This one time the waves were like chest high. This kook was blogging that they were head high. I blogged back and was all like "Kook it aint head high. What are you a midget?" Now days I'd have to say "little person" or I'd be a bigot.

No, I am a pretty simple dude with little to say. Passive aggressive perhaps, nice call. But, its all good, do your thing. No judgement here. I have plenty of stuff that people might find strange. I spend at least an hour a day on a personal finance advice site and i am not even in finance. At least your passionate about something. Nothing wrong with a passionate surfer. Too many people just walking around taking up space. Do what you do, you do it well. Cheers!
