These back in the day SI veteran posters with late 2000s account start dates popping up and posting left and right? The New World Order on SI can't be all that bad if they're jumping on board! These hate banners are changing the world.
Yep It's like they have been lurking in the shadows waiting for the right moment to posture up and take over when things get interesting! I think I prefer the dull comments made when the surf is up rather than the overlord rants when there is no surf, Although, as a relative newbie I should shut my mouth and remember my place in the hierarchy.
Yeah bro. Get back up the totem pole son. There's not enough room here for your uppity kind in us bottom feeders' territory.
Emass I wouldn't say bad, but definitely different. When i first join there was a lot of knowledgeable guys on here(Erock,Gaffer,Mfitz)who didn't mind helping a kook are a seasoned veteran out. Then you would have that guy who just add something different every once in a while(PJB,). The forum has gone down the route of a reality tv show lately, which i'm addicted to. Guys trying to make a name for themselves which isn't a bad thing depends on what you're looking for. I learned a lot more back then but laugh more now.
I remember when I joined,i was checking the forecast and I seen a 420 thread on the bottom, the date was actually 4/20,so I had to read it and when I got to the thread it was talking about hitler and Nazis for some reason,so I had to get in on the action
this. the forum just doesn't hold my interest like it used to. too much manufactured drama, not enough surfing lately. i definitely feel like i don't spend as much time, or post as much, here as i did say, a year ago. i'll look at it, read a post or 2, bump my "for sale" post, then go about my business. speaking of...
Gotta agree with this sentiment...the number of trolls is ridiculous...but for whatever reason I keep coming back to watch some of these train wrecks. To be honest...I don't get how some of these newer guys have time to post on so many threads...IMHO that takes some serious commitment to create a rep...I just don't get it. But whatever...I think I'm just out of the loop....
