Why The Hate...Because!

#4, went to the park with my son tongiht and there were 2 giant dogs craps IN THE DUGOUT. WTF. Sometimes I hate people. Even if your dog did this without you looking, you were jackass enought to not know about it. I also agree with #2, 5,6,7 & 10

 

There is a lot of hate going on......I prefer the word strongly dislike over hate so I strongly dislike when my dog goes to the bathroom on my floor, people who think they r funny but actually the most annoying person ever, math problems I can't figure out, people who tailgate others while driving, and loud obnoxious people when I'm trying to focus on doing something. There's a lot of things I don't like

 

I hate when a fart turns out to be more then a fart.

 

I hate when the forecast goes from flat to 7ft over a 2 hour period.is this legit?couldnt we see this like a week away?and whats the deal with these surf fins?do they really make u surf better?maybe stickybumps is better than sexwax,who knows,who cares.and why is my pizza always cold when its delivered?i always tip well because im not jewish,but gawdamn drive a little faster.and why hasn't there been a good thread out in a while.all im interested in are these funny rants like this thread.the best iv seen all week

I pretty much hate about 99% of the human race, and all of their contemptuous, self-serving, misinformed, vain and shallow tendencies. Not you guys, or at least by what I could tell about you guys. I mean even if there's a total of 300-400 people that i actually like, ok, maybe even 500, that's a drop in the bucket when contrasted with the total number of our species.

 

I hate:

1. Tourist drivers who have never heard of a "right on red".
2. Surfers out with waterproof MP3 players and earbuds (insta-snake for me)
3. Weathermen who hype up 2 inches of snow like they are doing on the news right now.

 

I hear you Doug. Happened to me at the Flyers/Islanders game on Saturday night. One pair of underwear left in the garbage at the rink. South Philly pork samwich wit provolone, broccoli rob, and hot peppers and Miller High Life were the culprits.

 

You're a brave man Chavez rolling the dice like that after that gut bomb.

 

I hate tourists who swim on the inside ( or let their kids swim on the inside ) of where it is breaking, and lo and behold, that is the only peak up and down the beach, and they get all jiggity when they almost get run over. Almost. One day one of them will get cut by someones board and they will sue, and scream and get all puffed up.

I hate jet skiiers who go through the surf zone almost landing on us as we paddle out. And when they are upwind and we have to smell them. and when they are within earshot and we have to hear that chainsaw noise at the beach. And when they look at us like we have three heads after we tell them to get the fu(k out of here.

I hate redneck and LL Bean surfcasters who start throwing junk at us after we've been there before they got there.

I hate condo commandos who think it is their God given right to have everyone else pay for their sand and then we can't park, no bathrooms or showers, but we owe them the sand.

I hate weather forecasters who are wrong half the time, unless they are beautiful women, then who cares.

That's it for now. Thanks for letting me vent. Time for a big bong hit and back to work. Oh, and I hate hate hate when this forecast says waves tomorrow, and then its flat. Don't toy with me!

 

Is there access to the beach south of the inlet south of singer island? I think the neighborhood is called sea isle estates and it looks like that jetty might provide protection from a strong north wind, while still allowing a northeasterly swell to come through cleanly.

Or do you have to have an expensive house on the beach to go there?

The "neighborhood" you ask about is The Town of Palm Beach. Parking is risky, but there are a few spots here and there (don't ask). The best way to get there, what i have done most of my surfing life, is to paddle across the inlet, climb over the rocks, and you have arrived at the promised land: Reef Road. It is a photo slut destination,and is very crowded. Only on big (double OH plus) days does it get enough waves to space out the hordes. The jetty give great protection from the NE wind, and the current too. It hasn't broken in a while, so we are due, maybe this Winter/Spring for a few good days there.
