I hate the old guys that sit on the boardwalk and b1tch about the surf. They always talk about how it used to be so much better but they really dont know because they NEVER surf anymore. I hate the guy in the line up that always wants to know what time it is. If you have to know, wear a watch. I hate coming home from a trip knowing its gonna be flat when I get there. I hate the f@cking gulf of mexico.

Oh thanks for reminding me sailquick, Reef Road used to be semi-underground, a core spot on the lower East Coast. Due to the advent of civilization and all its toys, it is maxed out on any decent swell, full of kooks, pros, old locals, young guns, Miami clueless, and an occasional kayaker. Once, my buddy who wind surfs, ran over a surfer and his fin cut him in the as8 cheeks. Ran him right over. He had to go to the hospital and apologize, and wind surfers were given the hairy stink eye for a while.

The last real good swell was Sandy, and it was very gnarly due to the fact that she passed so close so there was not many lulls between waves so it was dangerous unless you had a WRV assist. It wasn,t crowded then, but every swell in the last 15 years it has. I have learned to deal with it by hitting alternative spots that do hold a good swell, but you have to really paddle your ass of. And I hate to really paddle so hard my shoulder wants to pop out. But it is worth it not to have to surf a spot so dear to me in my minds eye, that I hate to see it as it exists now.

 

i hate people who hate jesus, people who want to take away guns,when tourist are swimming in the line up and i have to swerve though about 4 of them. people who want to get rid of fried food for more healthy foods. commercials sucks.. people who are all aggro and think they own the break, oak trees, radioactive fish, archys conspiracy theory's spreading fear, swamp ass, natty ice,texas people, new jersey, ,mosquitoes, ball cancer, land sharks.
