Making surf trip this winter from costa to east coast - where to go?

Nantasket. All the way. Goes off every day, brah. There's a plush ranch you can stay at there, too. Heck, they may even have an Xterra surf wagon for your charging pleasure sitting the the driveway waiting for your arrival.

 

Gulf coast, man. Make sure u read the Training for a surf trip thread first though because you cant just step off a plane and handle the juice we have in the Gulf. Hit me up I'll tell you bout all our secret point breaks.

 

Brah they call it the east coast pipeline for a reason! Make sure you train- it can get heavier then pipe on an average day...

i hear there's this spot on long island called PITSTOPS and it supposedly goes off daily. u've gotta b "IN THE KNOW" thoz...and it's well protected by just one dude. so b prepared 2 go to war if u wanna share it. (ie start benchin 500Lbs and start daily steroid regimen). good luck!

There should be a permanent ban and public caning for anyone that mentions Belmar, benching, 23'ers, Hindu's, models, gold chains or any other of this stupid sh!t... You guys are better than this. Yeah I would by all means hit the Belmar, you can rock 23 footers while shoting a pier then bang a hindu while throwin up mad lbs on da bench.

 

Be forewarned. If you're planning on coming to VB, be sure to work on your breath-holding. Hold-downs from our dreaded 2-3 footers can be brutal.
