Palin scares the crap outta me, who knows what the hell she would do as president. When McCain kicks the bucket (any day now) and Palin becomes president, I am moving to Australia and burning my U.S. passport.

Well so the best you can do is say that McCain dated a stripper. Okay fair enough. Where was Obama when McCain was dating this stripper? Was he in Hawaii? Was he even in the U.S? adowcett-Finally, someone points out the obvious! The likelyhood that McCain actually makes it through 4 years as the president is a gamble I am not willing to take. To think that Palin could in fact lead this country is a daunting prospect. Especially given her claim to foreign policy experience is Alaska's proximity to Russia. But I digress...

The likelyhood that either one of these candidates are going to change anything in 4 years is unlikely however, will they pave the road for future initiatives regarding our economy, energy policy, education, the war on terror, etc...?...YES! This country cannot afford another 4 years of the same old, same old policy that has driven this nation into financial debt, energy dependence, and a exhausted military (oh, and we still have yet to capture or kill Osama bin Laden mind you). WE NEED CHANGE!

and on the socialism issue (because I know someone will bring it up), the wall street bailout that Bush and McCain endorsed...yeah, that falls into the socialism realm as well. And oh by the way, some of the same conservative Americans that are anti-socialism are the same Americans that are benefiting from social programs like welfare and medicaide so get a clue!

Spread the wealth in relation to spreading the waves is what the thread is, read the dude who started the thread and what he has to say..,My initial guess is that it has a political undertone esp, after 90% of the responses relating to the political topic and the thread, or have we not been keeping up with the Obama statement that has been engraved into every Americans brain the past month.

Not sure what your talking about 8 years, that is a reference towards President Bush and the last failed 8 years in office and how McSame is basically indentical in the way he would choose to run our country.

And not that Obama does dislike white people (photo above, duh), but I think that African Americans should have every right to dislike white people. We only enslaved them for over 100 years, then made them have completely separate (and much worse) everyday facilities, and then half of the south is still prejudice against them 'till this day.
