naming spots at wrightville beach....?! That's a good one. Shhhh don't let the secret out.....lol Seriously though. Looks like some we're taken at the south end during the afternoon when it got smaller and the wind came up. The bigger, glassier shots were most likely c street area, or about 10 blocks south of mercers pier. CHeck it out on google earth. I don't have the gps coordinates on me.
I wasn't saying the OP named a spot. I was responding to the kid that asked "is that Wrightsville?" And I don't care if it's named. I was just saying he may not get an answer
Long time listener, first time caller. This thread just speaks to me. I’m so glad I was close enough to the pier featured in the pictures to be a part of these epic “epic!” waves; I’m still reeling. (By the way, Hannah, I have always imagined you as some hot surfer chick, but considering yesterday’s temperatures, I’m assuming this can’t be true.

I got in two sessions yesterday at different spots. Some of the pics are from Surf City in the a.m. and the rest taken in CB that afternoon. It was a really fun day!!
This is the place I learned to surf when I was a youngster. Seeing it fire makes me miss it all the more.
